An anonymous soldier who survived the Iranian drone attack on a U.S. position in Kuwait directly contradicted Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's characterization of the incident as just one projectile slipping through defenses. The soldier described a devastating attack on a position with no fortifications despite intelligence showing it was a known target, killing six Americans and injuring dozens. The soldier stated his unit was ordered there without good articulated reason and believes the deaths were preventable.
