Tommy Lee described the physical toll of his stadium roller coaster drum rig, which suspends him upside down while playing. He explained he must use supplemental oxygen after the nine-minute performance due to the extreme cardiovascular demands of drumming while inverted, requiring modifications to pedals and cymbals to function upside down.
