"Roy Mackal, University of Chicago, evolutionary biologist, believes in evolution. He went to the Congo swamp in Likouala Swamp. He said, folks, there are still dinosaurs alive in that swamp today. They're only 15 or 20 feet long."
Kent Hovind referenced University of Chicago biologist Roy Mackal's expeditions to Congo's Likouala Swamp, claiming Mackal reported living Apatosaurus-like creatures called Mokele-mbembe by locals. Hovind stated isolated villages independently identified sauropod dinosaurs from drawings shown by Western researchers. When challenged to provide photographic evidence, Hovind deferred to Mackal's published work and phone contact.
