What was said
"And there were, you know, legacy programs tackling this, and I'll call it rice bowls or stovepipes. And a lot of that data was not shared with me and my team at NGA. And ironically, not even with the, the AARO office that's currently been instantiated at the Pentagon to try to tackle this issue from an overt perspective."
Grusch disclosed that AARO, the Pentagon's official UAP investigation office, has been deliberately excluded from accessing legacy UAP programs and recovered materials. He revealed that critical data was withheld not only from his team at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency but also from AARO itself, suggesting the official investigation is handicapped by internal resistance. This contradicts the public narrative that AARO represents a comprehensive government effort to study UAP.
