What was said
"I got in my fucking car and I called Lorenzo Fertitta. I said, Lorenzo, I don't know if this guy can fight, but if he can even throw a fucking punch, this guy's going to be the biggest fucking superstar ever. And then Ronda Rousey came up to me at an event and the rest is history."
Dana White disclosed that in his entire 25-year career, only Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey impressed him through personality alone before he saw them fight. After meeting McGregor in Las Vegas following Irish fans' recommendations, White immediately called UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta predicting superstardom. Similarly, after a 10-minute conversation with Rousey, White decided to launch women's MMA around her star power. The revelation highlights White's legendary talent evaluation instincts.
