The jury empaneled to hear the Carmelo Anthony murder case contains no Black members, sparking controversy from defense attorneys who accused prosecutors of racial bias. One potential Black juror disqualified himself by stating he would never put a brother behind bars. The defense attempted to identify Democratic voters through immigration policy questions as a jury selection strategy.
