Just this within the last week as an effort to suppress the prices of oil, to keep it below $110 per barrel. At this rate, our Strategic Petroleum Reserve will probably be exhausted by the end of July, beginning of August."
McGregor revealed Trump has drawn down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve at rates that could deplete it by summer, contradicting the president's earlier criticism of Biden for the same practice. He noted Trump also sold oil below market price to Asian allies, attempting to mitigate damage from the Iran strikes without long-term strategy.
