"According to Bloomberg, the deal has gone so poorly for OpenAI that they might sue Apple for breach of contract. OpenAI expected billions of subscription revenue from the deal, and it hasn't come to fruition."
Breaking news revealed OpenAI is exploring legal action against Apple after their 2-year ChatGPT integration into Siri produced dramatically lower revenue than expected. Apple allegedly failed to promote the integration, required users to specifically invoke ChatGPT by name, and expressed privacy concerns about OpenAI. The companies are also reportedly feuding over OpenAI recruiting Apple design chief Jony Ive and building competing hardware.
