What was said

"I have got a couple different HRV sensors and um you know, when I put them on, I clip one to my ear. It's crazy because I'll look at it, you know, I can, you know, I know how to do it with breathing, right? I can raise my HRV with breathing. I start tapping on the side of my hand just like this and the HRV spikes like it's incredible so fast."

Nick Ortner says tapping affects the vagus nerve immediately and boosts his heart-rate variability readings. He reports seeing faster HRV increases with tapping than with breathwork alone using consumer sensors, including one clipped to his ear.
