What was said
"I had a cell phone uh trying to talk to my girlfriend turned wife now. That didn't go so well. And then I did a podcast over the pay phone and that was one of my worst ideas."
Billy McFarland says he repeatedly got in trouble in prison, including having a contraband mobile phone to speak with his girlfriend, whom he says is now his wife. He also says he tried recording a podcast trailer over a prison payphone before staff stopped him.
