Guest recounts making a suicide plan during flight-school reinstatement process

What was said

""I for the first time in my life I hit rock bottom and I made I decided that I was going to commit suicide and I made a plan. Uh and I had a time and place and exactly how I was going to do it.""

The unnamed guest says that while going through a year-long process to get reinstated in Army flight school, he “hit rock bottom” and decided to commit suicide, including making a specific plan for time and place. He says he did not act on it because of his dog, and later came to view suicide as causing lasting harm to loved ones.
