What was said
"And um and then I thought, you know, after ski racing my knee would get better and it didn't. Like not being active actually made it worse. So um I had to continue with my physical training and I just got to the point where I was like I can't even do a 20 minute walk with my friend's seven-year-old kid. So I need to figure it out. And I got um I did a lot of research and I got a knee replacement."
Lindsey Vonn says her knee did not improve after she retired and that reduced activity made it worse. She recalls reaching a point where she could not manage a 20-minute walk, then researching options and choosing a knee replacement that changed what she could do physically.
