Joe Rogan revealed that Khamzat Chimaev suffered a catastrophic weight cut before his fight with Sean Strickland, cutting approximately 44 pounds from 230+ pounds down to 185. Chimaev's body nearly shut down during the process, forcing his team to halt the cut for an hour before resuming. Rogan attributed Khamzat's performance issues in the fight to the extreme weight manipulation, suggesting fighters are being forced to compete while severely compromised.
