Dr Will Cole says a study he describes as published in Nature “this summer” found that people born after 1965 were ageing more rapidly than those born earlier when compared at the same age. He adds that the trend worsens by decade and links it to younger onset of conditions such as autoimmune problems and type 2 diabetes.
