An unnamed guest on Lewis Howes’ School of Greatness says he invested a total of US$1 million in a company after a six-month consulting arrangement and due-diligence period, including rolling a US$300,000 fee into the deal. He alleges the company’s CEO disappeared three days after the money was transferred and says he hired a private investigator to locate him. The guest claims he later discovered the operation was a sham, alleging the CEO used hired “actors” and kept “two sets of books”.
