""I use, and my company uses our production money to fund conservation work. Shut the [ __ ] up. Yeah. So, instead of taking a salary, I mean, we still pay ourselves, but instead of taking a big salary out of my productions, I take the money that I get from Discovery Channel or or Netflix or Animal Planet or whoever it happens to be, and put it into conservation work.""
Galante says his company redirects a portion of programme fees from major broadcasters and streamers into conservation, rather than maximising personal salary. He cites elephant relocation as an example, claiming his production funded most of the move alongside other donors and government partners.
