What was said
"I had no place to live so I just kind of lived in the parking lot and showered in the locker room and then just worked all day and then slept in my car. That was for a few months and then I moved into a garage in Venice and then uh, again I just got into wrestling by accident and now we're here."
John Cena tells Conan O’Brien he slept in his car for months after moving to Los Angeles, using Gold’s Gym’s facilities while working days and doing bar security at night. He describes the period as part of a string of odd jobs before he entered professional wrestling.
