UFC flyweight Charles Johnson told Ariel Helwani that he and his team flagged Eduardo Chapellene’s previous illegal knee to referee Jason Herzog before their bout, after spotting it in tape study of Chapellene’s Contender Series appearance. Johnson added that Herzog later told him he missed an eye poke in the fight, and Johnson said the subsequent point deduction for fouls was warranted.
