Jay Shetty recalls that, despite having “150, 200 million views” on his content at the time, he found himself four months away from being broke and began emailing large numbers of contacts offering consulting and social media work to stabilise his finances. Shetty says he took on work he did not want to do long-term, then invested what he earned into launching the On Purpose podcast.
