"I hid it for 6 months because the energy coming at you and cuz I'm quite an energy sensitive person. I just didn't want the energy coming at me. So, I kept it hidden for as long as I could. And then I was like, I mean, there's a price on my head for the photo."
Natalie Imbruglia describes keeping her pregnancy private for six months, saying she wanted to avoid the “energy” of public attention and felt she had to make strategic choices as photographers sought pictures. She adds that she ultimately issued a public statement to protect herself and the baby, and says she received supportive messages from women who wanted advice about fertility journeys.
