"I thought, "Oh, I'll call dad." And it wasn't for about 10 minutes until I got up and started to move around. I remembered I can't call my dad. My dad's been passed away now for 3 years."
Mylett recounts waking up and briefly planning to ring his father before remembering his father died three years earlier. He says the moment influenced his decision to do additional recording work that day as a way to “honour” him.
