Ezra Klein rejects an online claim that he belongs to a Peter Thiel-backed “secret society”, saying the “Dialogue” event was an ordinary, off-the-record tech conference he attended twice. Klein says he believes the story was picked up “pretty credulously” by Wired, and adds he never saw Thiel at the event and understood Thiel was not involved by the time Klein attended.
