"We're afraid for our lives. Every time I drive on uh outside of the Palestinian controlled areas, the cities and of course even within the Palestinian cities, I'm in Ramallah now and they we see the Israeli military all the time, but whenever I drive with roads that uh we know settlers are around, I'm afraid for my life."
Palestinian Christian pastor Munther Isaac says he lives in constant fear when travelling near areas where settlers are present, describing Palestinians as “defendless”. He alleges settlers operate with Israeli military protection, arguing the issue is state-backed rather than rogue violence.
