What was said

"sometime in, I think, August of 2015, I had one of my intel folks— we built a global intelligence infrastructure at Mandiant, so we had— Wow. Hundreds of people that spoke 30, more than 30 languages in over 30 countries. And one of these guys just walked in my room one day and said, foreign intelligence from Russia is influencing the hearts and minds of people through these X handles, these Facebook walls. And he just unloaded, and it was like a 100-page document."

Mandia recalls that in August 2015 a member of his intelligence team brought him a roughly 100-page report alleging Russian efforts to influence people via social media. He says Mandiant later released about 90 pages and that he believes he flew back to brief Sen. Mark Warner, though he does not remember the details now.
