What was said
"And I open it and inside there are hundreds of t-shirts, novelty Shakespeare t-shirts. And for years he had been selling these t-shirts, handdrawn Shakespeare art in these t-shirts on a website. He had a whole website domain and he never disclosed this to me."
Podcast producer Matt Gourley’s wife, podcaster and actor Amanda Lund, recounts finding “hundreds” of novelty Shakespeare T-shirts in a vintage trunk in their apartment after they had been dating for several years. Lund says Gourley had been selling hand-drawn Shakespeare designs online and had not told her about the side business at the time; Gourley responds that the venture had “withered” and was not being actively run.
