Clark says he engineered gallbladder surgery to obtain hospital opioids

Clark recounts what he describes as an extreme act during active addiction: presenting at hospital with a plan to have his gallbladder removed, believing it would lead to opioid administration and help him avoid withdrawal while waiting for money. He says the procedure ultimately produced less take-home medication than he anticipated, but did bridge him through to a payday.
