What was said
"Huffy's ranked seventh. I'm told. Armen was told by the UFC brass, he wins this fight, he's getting a title shot. I'm told Justin Gatechi is not fighting for the rest of the year."
Ariel Helwani says Arman Tsarukyan has been booked to fight Mauricio Ruffy on the UFC 331 card at Crypto.com Arena, and claims Tsarukyan was told by UFC decision-makers that a win would secure a lightweight title shot. Helwani also claims Justin Gaethje will not fight again this year, framing it as part of the wider logjam at the top of the division.
