"And we escaped to another set that wasn't being used on a— on, you know, on another soundstage. And we're hiding up there, and then they were looking for us. We stayed a little too long."
Thorne says that during a live taping period she and Zendaya left the immediate set area to talk privately about tensions and outside narratives pitting them against each other. She describes the conversation as formative and says production staff began looking for them when they overstayed their window before the next scene.
