What was said
"his first words were to the other officer coming in behind him, his first words were, "Well, it looks like he killed himself.""
Whitcomb says body-worn camera footage from the initial police response shows an officer initially interpreting the scene as a potential murder-suicide. He presents this as evidence of early confusion about what officers were encountering, before the investigation settled on a four-victim stabbing scenario.
