"Abdul El-Sayed, whose number one policy is to get money out of politics, is massively benefiting from money in politics. Just under $5 million, to be exact, from a collection of PACs and other independent expenditures, including lobbyists for the nursing industry, a super PAC controlled by a Muslim nonprofit recently labeled as a terrorist organization in Florida and Texas, and other mega-donors aligned with El-Sayed's anti-Israel politics."
Bari Weiss says in a Free Press segment on her podcast "Honestly" that Michigan Senate Democratic primary candidate Abdul El-Sayed is benefiting from outside spending despite campaigning against money in politics. She cites “just under $5 million” from PACs and other independent expenditures, including claims about pro- and anti-Israel donor backing. The segment says El-Sayed’s campaign did not respond to requests for comment.
