CIA Officers Don't Trust Their Instincts — Here's What They Do Instead
"In April of 2025, after a full year of Adam's leadership, my company bank account went to zero. We were $275,000 in debt to the bank. And we had paid Adam $225,000 to get us there, bringing our total loss to $500,000."
Andrew Bustamante, who hosts the Everyday Spy channel and says he previously served as a CIA officer, recounts hiring a chief operating officer in 2024 as his business grew. He says that after a year the company’s cash balance hit zero, leaving it $275,000 in bank debt and $500,000 down once the COO’s $225,000 salary was included, before he cut staff and claims the firm returned to profitability and repaid the debt by October 2025.
