What was said
"He was like, "I have a journal where I'm going to document every single day, and my goal is to fill this whole thing out. It may not happen, but I'm going to work my hardest to fill this out and make it 365 days, and I pray that there's a sequel to this journal so my kids can like read this. But if I can't do it and I meet my maker sooner than I intend to or I want to, I'm going to be really excited about it.""
Shaan Puri recounts Ben Wilson starting a daily journal after a cancer diagnosis, aiming to write a full year for his children. Puri says Wilson described the prospect of dying in explicitly religious terms and spoke calmly about it.
