"The strategic goal has to be regime change. And that's why I was so happy to hear he's bringing Israel back. uh or at least that's the reporting that he wants Israel to join in because Israel's got uh networks and resources inside the country that may be able to help finally destabilize this tyrannical apocalyptic uh savage government."
Arguing that military actions like keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and degrading missile and nuclear capabilities are only “military objectives”, Schlichter says the “strategic goal” should be regime change in Iran. He cites unspecified reporting that Trump wants Israel involved, saying Israeli networks inside Iran could help destabilise the government.
