A NewsNation guest described a growing legal backlash against Kalshi’s election prediction markets, saying a Washington judge has ordered the platform blocked in that state and that similar actions are under way in New York, Massachusetts, Michigan and Nevada. The guest also said the Wisconsin Elections Commission has warned voters they could face felony charges for betting on an election in which they also cast a ballot, and noted Kalshi has suspended three congressional candidates for trading on their own races.
