Supreme Court Ruling Ends Race Based Congressional District Drawing Nationwide
Matt Walsh Show
Ep. 1777 - Everything That You Were Told About The Civil Rights Movement Was A Lie
"A few weeks ago, the Supreme Court ruled that it's unconstitutional to draw these congressional districts on the basis of race specifically. So it's fine to draw districts that benefit your party as a general matter, but you cannot draw districts to maximize the number of Black people in those districts."
Walsh explained that recent Supreme Court decisions have ended the decades-long practice of drawing majority-Black congressional districts, eliminating what he called a 'massive political advantage for Democrats' worth at least 12 House seats. The ruling sparked threats of violence from left-wing activists and accusations of a new Jim Crow era.
