Episode summary
Chris Martenson, founder of Peak Prosperity, appeared on Redacted with hosts Clayton and Natalie Morris to discuss his team's forensic investigation into the Charlie Kirk shooting. Martenson presented detailed ballistic testing results that challenge the official narrative of the incident. His team recreated the shooting using ballistic gelatin, t-shirts, and necklaces similar to what Kirk wore, firing over 30 rounds through various materials including pork roasts to test penetration and deflection. The tests consistently showed that a .30-06 rifle round fired from the officially stated position at the Losi building would have passed completely through Kirk's neck rather than being stopped. Martenson's hypothesis, formed on day three of his investigation, is that Kirk was shot from a steeper downward angle, likely from the Sorenson building at the UVU complex. This theory gained support when researcher Kelly Rabon discovered video frames showing a white-clad figure fleeing from that exact rooftop location Martenson had identified. The tests replicated the broken necklace and unusual shirt behavior seen in Kirk's case six out of six times. Martenson noted that law enforcement has not released video footage showing the alleged shooter Tyler Robinson in prone position taking the shot, despite presumably having such footage. Candace Owens recently stated on Shawn Ryan's show that she doesn't believe Robinson was even present that day. Martenson also touched on unrelated topics including oil markets before the shooting investigation discussion. He expressed frustration that federal investigators appear uninterested in pursuing these discrepancies.
